Welcome to Douglas Art Gallery!

Douglas Art Gallery offers a wide range of unique original visual art works in a variety of creative media at affordable prices: drawings, paintings, mixed media works, sculptural assemblages, art collector cards and art note cards. The majority of these works are the output of artist/owner Elizabeth Asche Douglas, who holds a longstanding award-winning reputation in the arts, extending far beyond the Beaver Valley area.

Douglas Art Gallery also provides graphic design, art consulting, art curatorial services, educational and entertaining programs on various aspects of the arts. The Artistry in Song division of Douglas Art Gallery presents Beaver Valley Musians' Hall of Famer, "Betty Douglas" in musical performance as a jazz and/or gospel singer, solo or "with Friends."

Elizabeth (Betty) Asche Douglas is owner and principal artist of Douglas Art Gallery.
The America Jewish Museum's catalog of the "Legacy of a Painter" exhibition
(2011) includes her work. She recently had work on exhibit in the Annual International Small
Works Salon at the New Arts Program Gallery in Kutztown, PA and the Midland Arts
Council's Summer Gallery in Midland, PA. The Southwestern PA Council for the Arts History
Through the Arts exhibition, Greensburg Art Center, PA ran July 16 through Aug. 26.
With a BFA in painting & design from Carnegie Institute of Technology (now Carnegie
Mellon University), Asche Douglas launched her professional career a half century ago with
a prize-winning entry in the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh's 42nd annual at the Carnegie
Museum of Art. She earned a Master's degree in art history at the University of Pittsburgh
and did additional study at the University of Pennsylvania. She works in a variety of art
forms, media and styles.

distinctions, solo exhibitions and inclusion in invitational and juried exhibitions throughout
the U.S. Her professional career is archived in the National Museum of Women in the Arts,
Washington, D.C. Her biography is referenced in the 2012 edition of Who's Who in America,
Who's Who in the World, Who's Who Among African Americans, Who's Who in the East; the
National Registry of Who's Who; the International Directory of Women in the Arts;
Outstanding Educators of American; The International Biographical Centre, Cambridge,
U.K.; Outstanding Achievers of the 21st Century. Her work is included in public and private
collections throughout the U.S. and abroad, as well as represented in several major slide
registries around the country.
As Betty Douglas, she performs as a musician and lecturer/ performer. Artistry in Song is
